Tamiya now presents the CC-02 chassis (Cross Country) in a version with a Land Rover Defender 90 (1990) body.

The CC-02 chassis was modeled on real off-road vehicles and has a frame chassis, cone differentials front and rear and a 4-link suspension. The rigid axle at the front and rear makes the model particularly suitable for off-road use and the 4 CVA oil pressure shock absorbers absorb any bumps perfectly.

A powerful 540 engine installed behind the front axle provides the drive. This ensures good weight distribution when going off-road. The transmission box is encapsulated on the engine and transmits the power to the front and rear axles via movable cardan shafts.

The body has the distinctive design of the Land Rover Defender 90 and is made of polycarbonate. Tamiya also provided a separate front grille, side mirrors and roll cage. The lamp inserts can be equipped with 5mm LEDs - the light unit is included in the kit!
